Richard E. Barwig Scrapbook

Scope and Contents This scrapbook was created by Richard E. "Butch" Barwig while a student at Lawrence College from 1919 to 1923. It contains photographs, dance cards from Theta Phi events, and newspaper clippings.

Richard Harrison Collection

Scope and Contents This collection documents the tenure of Richard Harrison as Dean of the Faculty and Professor of History at Lawrence from 1992 until his death in 1997. Materials primarily include documentation of his appointment, memorial service, and the research fund and symposium established in his honor. A Lunch at Lawrence address written by Harrison and photographs are also included.

Materials include syllabi for the courses Stowe taught, notebooks and syallbi for the courses he took, correspondence, newspaper clippings, publications, speeches, translations, and photographs.

Robert K. Wolter Scrapbook

Scope and Contents The Robert K. Wolter Scrapbook contains personal calendars, commencement programs, class schedules, dance cards, invitations to events on campus, name cards, newspaper clippings, photographs, programs from various events at Lawrence College, and receipts. Wolter graduated from Lawrence College in 1906. During his time at Lawrence College he joined the Theta Phi fraternity and particpated in atheletics.

Robert Wiley Scrapbook

Scope and Contents This scrapbook was created by Robert Wiley, who attended Lawrence College in 1911-1912 and 1912-1913. It contains photographs, newspaper clippings, and ephemera. The scrapbook documents Wiley's experience as quarterback of the Lawrence football team and as a member of the Glee Club. Materials date from 1909 to 1913.

Romulus Kellogg Papers

Scope and Contents This collection consists of the papers of Romulus Kellogg. Kellogg was Professor of Ancient Languages and German at Lawrence University from 1849 to 1854 and Librarian from 1851 to 1854. Papers include sermons and notes related to his work as a clergyman, family documents, and articles and other records regarding his death at the State Hospital for the Insane. Kellogg family genealogical materials are also included.

Scope and Contents Ronald Mason taught at Lawrence University as professor of Anthropology from 1961 to 1995. This collection contains articles about Mason, articles by Mason, photographs, and a series of cassette tape recordings entitled "Fundamentals of Archaeology."

Scope and Contents This collection consists of papers documenting Ronald Tank's teaching and research activities as professor of geology at Milwaukee-Downer College and Lawrence University. Materials date from 1955 to 2017 and include publications, biographical information, photographs, and teaching materials. The bulk of the collection consists of a complete set of lecture notes, lab exercises, and other materials used to teach Introductory Geology in 2013.

Scope and Contents Roy Wilhelm Edward Hupe's Scrapbook contains dance cards, publications by the Lawrence College Delta Iota fraternity chapter, ephemera such as a spoon and wishbone, Lawrence College handbooks, menus, newspaper clippings, programs from events at Lawrence College and from Ft. Sheridan, photographs from his time spent at Lawrence University, in the Army, and in Idaho, and ticket stubs. Hupe attended Lawrence College from 1914-1917.
