Scope and Contents This series of bound volumes contains records of the Office of the President dating from 1954 to 1978, during the tenures of Presidents Knight, Tarr, and Smith. Scope and Contents The collection contains materials documenting the search for a president from 1969 to 2004, during which time Presidents Thomas Smith, Richard Warch, and Jill Beck were appointed. Materials include correspondence between the search committee and nominated candidates for the position, as well as letters from colleges across the country providing suggestions for the new president. Interview schedules and resumes of candidates are also included.
Scope and Contents This collection consists of the incoming and outgoing correspondence of presidents of Lawrence University with various constituencies, 1923 to 2008. The bulk of the collection consists of correspondence with alumni, Greek organizations on campus, the Institute of Paper Chemistry, and trustees.

Scope and Contents The Campus Club presented this scrapbook to Ralph J. Watts and his wife at a dinner for the Campus Club of Lawrence College and the Institute of Paper Chemistry at the Riverview Country Club in 1950. Watts retired that spring as the college's business manager and started the following year as vice president. The scrapbook contains photographs of other college employees, trustees, and honorary degree recipients.
