Biographical or Historical Information
This committee was known as the Committee on Administration from as far back as 1922 to 1972. It was known as the Deans' Committee on Administration from 1972 to 1977, and it became the Subcommittee on Administration in 1977. As of 2015, it is a subcommittee of the Instruction Committee, charged with "[ruling] on student petitions for waivers of the rules that govern the academic status of students."
