Boynton Family Correspondence with Henquinet Family

Identifier: LU-MS-218
This collection consists primarily of letters from Donald and Winifred Boynton to Milton and Helen Henquinet, dating from 1941 to 1973. The Henquinets were employed as the caretakers of Björklunden, the Boyntons' property in Bailey's Harbor, Wis., during these years. Letters primarily document the everyday concerns involved in managing the property during the off-season months of October-May. Letters include discussion of family news and travel as well. The bulk of the letters are from Donald to Milton or from Winifred to Helen. Copies of some of Milton's replies are also included.
