Scope and Contents This collection consists of records pertaining to the Navy V-12 training unit established at Lawrence during World War II. Records include reports, articles, photographs, a directory, commencement materials, staff information, and correspondence. Administrative planning records related to the war effort pre-dating the establishment of the Navy V-12 unit at Lawrence, including applications to other federal programs, are also included.

Scope and Contents This collection consists of records of the Office of Communications, previously known as the Office of Publicity, the Office of Public Relations, and the Office of Public Affairs, dating from 1925 to the present. Records include correspondence and reports, documentation of special events, news media guides, samples of publications produced for other offices and departments, and press releases.

Scope and Contents This collection contains records of the Office of Development, and fund-raising records pre-dating the creation of this office, from 1847 to the present. Records include administrative and subject files, publications, event invitations, and campaign materials. Records documenting gifts to Lawrence, including early subscription books, gifts from corporations and individuals, endowed chairs and professorships, and grants, are also included.

Scope and Contents This collection contains records of the Office of Engaged Learning dating from 2010 to 2016, primarily during the tenure of Monica Rico as Pieper Family Professor of Servant Leadership. Records include correspondence, reports, and subject files relating to student projects and research on community service and servant leadership. Certificates recognizing Lawrence on the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll are also included.

Previous titles of the Provost and Dean of the Faculty include the Vice President for Academic Affairs and the Academic Dean. Scope and Contents This collection contains records of the Office of the Registrar, and student academic records pre-dating the creation of this office, from 1849 to the present. Records include scholastic records, faculty grade reports, student registers, G.I. Bill student records, and enrollment and retention reports and statistics.

Scope and Contents This collection consists of records created by the Sabin Alliance, an association of Lawrence faculty and staff for supporting women and women's issues, dating from 1985-1993. Records include membership lists, brochures, committee information, reports, newsletters, memoranda, and other correspondence.

Scope and Contents This collection consists of records of the Select Committee on Planning dating from 1968 to 1970. President Curtis Tarr appointed the committee in 1968 and charged it with investigating the whole structure of the university and making recommendations for change to the faculty. Scope and Contents This collection consists of curriculum records for the Sophomore Divisional Studies program at Lawrence dating from 1956-1961.  Records include reports, surveys, financial documents, photographs, and correspondence.

Scope and Contents This collection consists of records from the Special Study Committee, a faculty committee appointed to study the curriculum at Lawrence, dating from 1952 to 1955. The work of the committee was supported by a grant from the Carnegie Corporation.  Records consist of meeting minutes, correspondence, and reports (including what became known as the Troyer Report, named for the committee chair, Howard Troyer.)
