Scope and Contents The collection contains materials documenting the tenure of Sherwin Howard as the assistant to the president of Lawrence University, 1971 to 1980, as well as materials used for his dissertation. Annual reports to President Smith, student surveys and personal calendars, as well as thesis materials are included.
