Scope and Contents This collection is composed of essays and lecture notes written by Amelia Jane Harrod, Lawrence University Class of 1868. Materials date from 1864 to 1868 and include essays titled "Decline of Science," "Ruins," and "Fireside Angels," as well as notes from lectures on mineralogy delivered by Professor James Foye.
