The sundial from Merrill Hall on the Milwaukee-Downer College campus was installed on the south face of Main Hall at Lawrence and dedicated at the Colors Day Reunion for Downer alumnae, October 18, 1975. Professor of English Thomas Dale gave this dedicatory address, reprinted on page 13 of the December, 1975 issue of Lawrence Today.
