Summary Note
Johnston Hall was built in 1901 and was the first dormitory on the campus. It was named in honor of John Johnston, a native of Scotland, who served on the Board of Trustees at Milwaukee College. He was director of the Milwaukee Cement Company and was president of the Grand National Curling Club of America.
