Plantz writes to Ganfield, president of Carroll College, regarding a meeting he is unable to attend at the headquarters of the Wisconsin Anti-Saloon League. After writing this letter, Plantz traveled to Sturgeon Bay to speak at the Men's Forum of the Methodist Church. Plantz stayed in a hotel in Sturgeon Bay and during the night died of a heart attack. This is the last letter he wrote.
