Biographical or Historical Information
The Sabin Alliance was established in 1986. The following mission statement was adopted by the membership in 1987: "The Ellen Sabin Alliance is an association of faculty and staff members at Lawrence University. It seeks to support Lawrence women - faculty, staff, and students - in their academic and professional endeavors by promoting awareness, exploration, and understanding of issues affecting women."
