Biographical or Historical Information
Fred Sumner Hanson, III received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Pennsylvania State College in 1935. He later went on to earn a Master of Science degree from Lawrence College in 1937, and a PhD in Chemistry from the Institute of Paper Chemistry, then located in Appleton, WI, in 1939.
