The collection contains papers documenting fencing and tennis classes taught by Mary Poulson, professor of Physical Education at Milwaukee-Downer College from 1963 to 1964 and at Lawrence University from 1964 to 1993. Correspondence, newspaper clippings, schedules of classes and events, and score sheets from classes are included In the collection. The fencing records include photographs of fencing matches, fencing catalogs, and programs from fencing championships. Tennis files include men’s and women’s tennis score books, information on the Midwest Conference and other tournaments that the tennis teams played in, photographs of tennis players, and programs from tennis matches.
