Donald B. Byer's scrapbook contains personal correspondence, dance cards, a copy of the by-laws for his dormitory, various copies of the Lawrence College student handbook, lyrics for songs such as the Alma Mater, name cards, newspaper clippings, menus, photographs, programs for events at Lawrence College, and ticket stubs. Dyer graduated from Lawrence in 1923. He attended Lawrence prior to service in World War I, and he returned after his relief. As a Lawrence student he participated in various athletics and joined the Delta Iota fraternity.
