Harper, Dean of the Lawrence College Conservatory of Music from 1908 to 1913, as well as articles and biographical information about him. Papers include leases, a contract, and a scrapbook containing newspaper reviews of Harper's vocal performances.

Biographical or Historical Information

William Harper (1864-1947) was Dean of the Conservatory of Music at Lawrence from 1908 to 1913. Under his leadership, the Conservatory rapidly expanded. He also established the Artist Series in 1908.
