Biographical or Historical Information

The Committee on Admissions was established as a standing committee of the faculty in 1955. Its name changed to the Committee on Admission in 1969, and to the Committee on Admission, Retention, and Placement in 1974. The committee was dissolved in 1976 and reestablished in 1977 as the Committee on Admissions and Public Relations. This committee was dissolved in 1985.
