Biographical or Historical Information

The Committee on Enrollment, consisting of staff and administrators, was established by President Thomas Smith in 1969 primarily to review enrollment and projected enrollment data. Its duties were separate from those of the Committee on Admissions, a standing committee of the faculty. (This committee is also separate from the Committee on Enrollment, a standing committee of the faculty, established in 1998.)
