Collection: Malle Vaarsi Scrapbooks | Lawrence University Archives

These scrapbooks were created by Malle Vaarsi during her time as a student at Milwaukee-Downer College, 1959 to 1963. She created one scrapbook each for her freshman, sophomore, and junior years, with two scrapbooks documenting her senior year, 1962-1963. Her second senior year scrapbook also contains publicity regarding the consolidation with Lawrence, 1963 to 1964. A sixth scrapbook is titled "Student Hostesses, 1962-1963." The scrapbooks contain newspaper clipppings, memorabilia, and photographs depicting traditions such as Colors Day, razzing, Hat Hunt, regattas, and holiday celebrations, as well as candid photographs of other student recreation.
