Arrangement Note

Materials are arranged alphabetically by street name, then numerically for each street.

Method of Acquisition

Materials were collected and placed in the Archives vertical file prior to July 2005. The donor and source of the materials is unknown.

Accruals and Additions

Materials related to Lawrence University houses will continue to be collected and placed in this collection by the University Archivist.

Processing Information

The folders were removed from the vertical file, materials were placed in acid-free folders, and the folders were labeled with the address of the house, what the house was known as before it was demolished, or by the name the house was known as at the time of processing.
