             Biography of Jerome A. Watrous, buch of which revolves around his experiences during the Civil War. Watrous was a student at Lawrence University for a brief period in 1859.              Jerome A. Watrous began to write his autobiography at age 80 but only completed the first chapter. The author, his grandson, has attempted to finish the story in Watrous's words from articles, letters, and dispatches that he wrote.
