Scope and Contents This collection is comprised of materials documenting the history of Alexander Gymnasiums I and II. The first gymnasium was built in 1901, and the second one was built in 1929. Correspondence, newspaper clippings, programs, and photographs are included in the collection.

Abstract This collection is composed of the papers that document the presidency of Nathan Pusey, president of Lawrence University from 1944-1953. Materials include both incoming and outgoing correspondence of Pusey, speeches he gave while at Lawrence University, and photographs of Pusey while he was at Lawrence and when he visited Lawrence after leaving as president. Scope and Contents This collection contains reproductions of materials collected by Theodore R. Crane while researching the life and work of Henry Merritt Wriston in the 1960s. The bulk of the materials are copies of speeches and publications by Wriston dating from his years as president of Lawrence College, 1925 to 1937. Also included are correspondence and summaries of interviews with Lawrence staff and faculty conducted by Crane from 1963 to 1966.
