Scope and Contents This collection consists of records of the Committee on New Student Relations, a staff committee, dating from 1976 to 1979. Records include meeting minutes and correspondence.
Scope and Contents The collection consists of materials documenting the history and development of Freshman Studies, a required course for freshmen at Lawrence introduced by President Nathan Pusey in the fall of 1945. Correspondence, schedules and reading lists, committee and grant documentation, and other curricular materials make up the bulk of the collection. Documentation on variations of the freshman core program offered during the 1970s is also included.
Scope and Contents This collection documents Welcome Week, the week before the first week of classes fall term in which new freshmen move in and are introduced to Lawrence University. Prior to 2003, the week was known as New Student Week. Materials in the collection include correspondence, programs, photographs, and newspaper clippings, dating from 1926 to the present.
