Scope and Contents
	     This collection consists of the papers of Amélie Catherine Sérafon, professor of French at Milwaukee-Downer College from 1910 to 1945. The bulk of the collection includes letters, in French, sent to Bessie Wolfner, Milwaukee-Downer College class of 1918. These letters were translated by Lawrence students and published as A Common Bond: Letters from Mlle Serafon in 2001. Other materials include newspaper clippings, teaching materials, and photographs.

Scope and Contents
	     This bound volume contains almost one hundred letters written to Hiram A. Jones by his former students to celebrate his fortieth year of teaching at Lawrence University in 1894. Jones was a professor of Latin from 1854 until his death in 1898.
