This collection consists of records of the Select Committee on Planning dating from 1968 to 1970. President Curtis Tarr appointed the committee in 1968 and charged it with investigating the whole structure of the university and making recommendations for change to the faculty. It was chaired by Professor of Government Mojmir Povolny. Records include correspondence and memoranda, meeting minutes, reports, and records of all sub-committees.
