Scope and Contents This collection consists of records of the Long-Range Planning Task Force established by President Thomas Smith in 1976. Records include correspondence, minutes, and reports of the overall task force as well as sub-task forces on size constraints, finance, curriculum alternatives, extra-curricular structures, and inter-institutional relations.

Scope and Contents This collection consists of records of the Select Committee on Planning dating from 1968 to 1970. President Curtis Tarr appointed the committee in 1968 and charged it with investigating the whole structure of the university and making recommendations for change to the faculty.
