Scope and Contents This collection consists of original diplomas awarded by Lawrence University, 1857 to 1940. Some diplomas for honorary degrees are also included.

Scope and Contents The Edna Wiegand Collection contains correspondence, newspaper clippings, materials from her travels, photographs of Dr. Wiegand and her immediate family, her Doctorate of Philosophy degree from Columbia University, and her honorary Master of Arts degree from Lawrence University. Wiegand graduated from Lawrence University in 1911 and taught in the Classics department from 1923 to 1952.

Scope and Contents This collection contains various academic papers written by Dr. Forter as a student; personal academic notebooks and calendars; personal correspondence; records for the Elizabeth Tusten Forter Scholarship fund; her doctoral dissertation, "A Study of the Dramatic Technique of Bernard Shaw"; her Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison; and her honorary Master of Arts degree granted by Lawrence University.
