Scope and Contents This collection is composed of the correspondence and miscellaneous papers of John R. Newbury, a member of the Lawrence University class of 1930. The bulk of the materials date from Newbury’s time as a student at Lawrence from 1926 to 1930. Karen Chobot Scrapbooks

Scope and Contents This collection consists of two scrapbooks. The first was made by Karen Chobot during her freshman and sophomore years at Lawrence University, from 1963 to 1965. It includes newspaper clippings detailing the consolidation of Lawrence College and Milwaukee Downer College, convocation and theater programs, as well as sorority and fraternity event programs. The second scrapbook was a gift to Chobot from her sorority sisters and consists mostly of magazine clippings, 1965 to 1967.
