Scope and Contents This scrapbook was created by Carolyn King Stephens, Milwaukee-Downer College graduate of 1962, to document the efforts to obtain historic recognition for the former Milwaukee-Downer College buildings during the 1970s. Stephens served as the chair of the Committee for the Renovation of Downer Buildings. The scrapbook contains correspondence, newspaper clippings, and photographs. Materials date from 1972 to 1980.
