Summary Note

This film was produced in conjunction with the dedication of the Lawrence Bowl (later renamed the Banta Bowl) in 1965. The majority of the film consists of a discussion panel of past presidents of the school (Henry Wriston, Nathan Pusey and Douglas Knight) moderated by President Curtis Tarr. The men discuss the future of liberal arts education.
