Plantz discusses changing the name of the school from the Lawrence University of Wisconsin to Lawrence College. The name was changed and went into effect May 20, 1913. The name would remain until 1964 when Milwaukee-Downer College consolidated with Lawrence and the name was changed to Lawrence University.
