Milwaukee-Downer College People Files
The collection is composed of files that document people associated with Milwaukee-Downer College or either of its predecessors, Milwaukee Female College and Downer College (Wisconsin Female College). Files include information on administration, faculty, staff, students, and visitors to the college. Materials in the collection include primarily biographical information, correspondence, newspaper and magazine articles, and photographs, dating from roughly 1850 to the consolidation of the college with Lawrence in 1964.
