Scope and Contents This photograph album was created by Dean Earl Smith, a student at Lawrence from the fall of 1910 to the spring of 1912. It contains photographs of the Lawrence campus, student groups and individuals, members of the Beta Sigma Phi chapter, locations in and around Appleton, and other scenic images from around the state of Wisconsin. Also included are images of President Taft visiting Appleton on October 26, 1911.

The materials within this collection include her poetry, prose, published works, personal documents, reflections, correspondence, lecture notes, student papers and exams, and other materials from Professor Koffka's time and Smith College and Lawrence University. The collection is also home to audio tapes recounting personal history.
