Bruce Maitland Brown Papers

Scope and Contents The collection contains materials documenting Bruce Brown’s time as a member of the Board of Trustees at Lawrence (1994-1997), his work with the Class of 1969 scholarship fund, and his work with the Lawrence University Alumni Association. Financial materials, correspondence with other Lawrence staff and committee members and with other colleges, committee meeting agendas and minutes, and other reports are included in the collection.

The scrapbook contains Conservatory concert programs and dance cards from various fraternity or sorority formals. The papers include music scores copied by McHugh, including pieces by Beethoven, Chopin, Schubert, and Bach.
