Scope and Contents The collection is comprised of correspondence and biographical materials of Edna Ferber, a Pulitzer Prize winning novelist who spent her childhood and early career in Appleton, Wisconsin, and continues to have a strong influence on the city to this day. Scope and Contents The Edna Wiegand Collection contains correspondence, newspaper clippings, materials from her travels, photographs of Dr. Wiegand and her immediate family, her Doctorate of Philosophy degree from Columbia University, and her honorary Master of Arts degree from Lawrence University. Wiegand graduated from Lawrence University in 1911 and taught in the Classics department from 1923 to 1952.

Overview The Elisabeth Koffka Papers is a collection of materials from History Professor Elisabeth Koffka, which ranges from 1918 to 1994. Scope and Contents Emma Maxwell's scrapbook contains correspondence, newspaper clippings, photographs, and post-cards. According to a letter by Henry Colman, Maxwell attended Lawrence University from 1853-1855/1856. Colman also writes that she attended the commencement ceremony in 1857.
