This collection consists of materials documenting honor societies at Lawrence, dating from 1912 to 2009. Files document local societies, such as Mace, as well as chapters of national honor societies, including Mortar Board, Lambda Sigma, and Phi Beta Kappa. Materials include articles, minutes, correspondence, photographs, and scrapbooks.

Method of Acquisition

Campus Activities file on Mortar Board transferred from filing cabinets in basement of Memorial Union to Archives 2007-08-09. Lambda Sigma scrapbooks donated by Linda Fuerst, advisor to Lambda Sigma, July 2008. Phi Sigma Society records transferred to the Archives, 2019-06-26. The sources, dates, and methods of acquisition for the remainder of materials in this collection are unknown.
