Records include administrative and subject files, publications, event invitations, and campaign materials. Records documenting gifts to Lawrence, including early subscription books, gifts from corporations and individuals, endowed chairs and professorships, and grants, are also included.

This series of bound volumes contains records of the Office of the President dating from 1954 to 1978, during the tenures of Presidents Knight, Tarr, and Smith. Records include papers, minutes, and reports from various administrators, committees, and the Board of Trustees. Correspondence and minutes from the Associated Colleges of the Midwest and the Wisconsin Foundation of Independent Colleges are also included.

President Curtis Tarr appointed the committee in 1968 and charged it with investigating the whole structure of the university and making recommendations for change to the faculty. This collection consists of materials documenting the planning and construction of Shattuck Hall of Music, as well as the coincident renovation of the Memorial Chapel. Correspondence, meeting minutes, building specifications and plans, operational manuals, architectural renderings, photographs, and dedication materials are included. This collection consists of records from the Special Study Committee, a faculty committee appointed to study the curriculum at Lawrence, dating from 1952 to 1955. The work of the committee was supported by a grant from the Carnegie Corporation. Records consist of meeting minutes, correspondence, and reports (including what became known as the Troyer Report, named for the committee chair, Howard Troyer.)

This collection consists of the records of the bodies of student government preceding the establishment of the Lawrence University Community Council (LUCC) in 1968. These bodies included the Student Senate, the Student Executive Council, as well as women's student government organizations. Records primarily date from about 1910 to the early 1970s. Materials include constitutions and by-laws, handbooks, meeting minutes, correspondence, and reports.

This collection consists primarily of photographs taken by staff of The Lawrentian for inclusion in articles, dating from 1995 to 2004. Subjects depicted include Conservatory, theatre, and athletic events, as well as other extracurricular activities. Two folders of administrative materials, including Board of Control minutes and correspondence, are included. 2022 and 2023 Lawrentian staff handbooks are also included.
