Scope and Contents The Edna Wiegand Collection contains correspondence, newspaper clippings, materials from her travels, photographs of Dr. Wiegand and her immediate family, her Doctorate of Philosophy degree from Columbia University, and her honorary Master of Arts degree from Lawrence University. Wiegand graduated from Lawrence University in 1911 and taught in the Classics department from 1923 to 1952.
