"No Stone Unturned" Podcast Records

Scope and Contents This collection includes recordings of the podcast "No Stone Unturned," created by Jon Hanrahan and Sarah Axtell in 2015-2016. The podcast investigates what happened to the Rock, a large granite boulder and a symbol in Lawrence University student life since 1895, missing from campus since 1998. Materials include all four episodes and the trailer for the podcast, as well as web captures of the "No Stone Unturned" tumblr page.

Scope and Contents Noel G. Monroe's Scrapbook contains correspondence, invitations to events at Lawrence College, name cards, photographs, and programs from events at Lawrence College. Norma Yahr Scrapbook

Scope and Contents Norma Yahr's Scrapbook contains personal correspondence, invitations to events at Lawrence College, name cards, photographs, programs from events at the Conservatory of Music, ticket stubs, and personal essays written in the seventh and eighth grade. Norma attended Lawrence in 1914-1915.

Olga Grane Monroe Scrapbook

Scope and Contents Olga Grane Monroe's scrpabook contains memoranda from her high school years, as well as dance cards, name cards, newspaper clippings, invitations, photographs, and programs from her time at Lawrence College. Olga Grane Monroe graduated from Lawrence College in 1911. She married fellow classmate, Noel G. Monroe. Throughout the scrapbook she refers to herself as "OGM" and Noel G. Monroe as "NGM." This scrapbook contains an image of people in blackface.

Original Letters and Miscellany of Lawrence College Collection

Scope and Contents This collection consists of two volumes of assorted original correspondence and legal documents pertaining to the founding and early years of Lawrence University. Materials date from 1845 to 1934. The date that the volumes were assembled is unknown.

Scope and Contents This collection contains materials related to Paul Joseph Jackson's life including a file of biographical materials and correspodence from 1945-1955, a file of clippings and pamphlets from Drake Univesity dated 1972-1974, materials documenting his role as speaker at Forest Park High School Commencement in 1968, and materials documenting his awarding of an honorary degree by Lawrence University in 1974.

Scope and Contents This collection consists primarily of papers documenting Peter A. Fritzell's teaching and research activities as professor of English at Lawrence University, 1966 to 2003. Materials date from 1962 to 2019 and include correspondence, letters of recommendation, publications, lectures and speeches, Fritzell's poetry and nature writing as well as teaching materials for English and Freshman Studies courses. Materials documenting Fritzell's friendship with poet Jerald Bullis are also included.
