Scope and Contents This collection contains records documenting Convocation planning at Lawrence University dating from 1985 to 2017. Records were created by the Committee on Public Occasions, the Public Events Manager, and/or the Director of Public Affairs. Materials include primarily correspondence, programs, contracts, public relations material, and itineraries of speakers' visits to campus.

Scope and Contents The bulk of this collection is comprised of the scripts and programs from the plays that Emily Frances Brown produced and directed as an English professor at Milwaukee Downer College from 1900 to 1945. The collection also contains newspaper articles describing her role in bringing the now famous Christmas song “Twelve Days of Christmas” from England to the United States, as well as photographs and teaching materials.
Scope and Contents The collection contains materials documenting Homecoming, an annual fall tradition held at Lawrence from the early 1900s through 2001, as well as Fall Festival, which replaced Homecoming beginning in 2002. Ming taught piano and composition at Lawrence University from 1944 to 1971.
Scope and Contents This collection consists of papers collected and created by James S. Evans, professor of chemistry and computer science at Lawrence University from 1966 to 2011. The bulk of the collection documents computer software created at Lawrence, including Conversationally Oriented Statistical Analysis Package (COSAP) and other programs for internal operations. Materials date from 1973 to 1996 and include printed source code, user guides, and correspondence.

Scope and Contents This collection contains the papers of Jean Kraft, who attended Lawrence University as a freshman and sophomore with the class of 1948. Materials primarily document her career as an opera singer with the New York Metropolitan Opera and the Santa Fe Opera Company, including: a list of all performances with the Met, programs from concerts 1946-1980s, a scrapbook of photographs, and two audio CDs.
Scope and Contents The four scrapbooks in this collection contain programs from Lawrence University commencements, exhibitions, literary society events, recitals, concerts, theatre productions, and other celebrations and activities, dating from 1847 to 1947.
