Scope and Contents This collection consists of records documenting the accreditation of Lawrence University, primarily by the North Central Association/ Higher Learning Commission, 1933 to 2018. Administrative Staff Meeting Minutes

Scope and Contents This collection consists of minutes and agendas of meetings of the administrative staff (also known as the President's Cabinet) at Lawrence dating from 1943 to 2003. Records from 1980 to 1996 are incomplete.

Alice Nash White and Kirby B. White Papers

Scope and Contents This collection includes personal papers of Alice Nash White, Lawrence University class of 1901, and her husband Kirby B. White, ex-class of 1897 and trustee from 1927 until his death in 1933. The bulk of the collection consists of correspondence between Henry Wriston and Mr. White dating from his years on the Board, with particular emphasis on the college's response to financial difficulties during the Great Depression. Also included is a photocopy of Mr. White's diary dating from 1917 to 1932.

Arthur P. Remley Papers

Scope and Contents This collection consists of the papers of Arthur P. Remley documenting his service on the Lawrence University Board of Trustees. Remley served as a trustee from 1952 until he was elected emeritus trustee in 1993. The bulk of the papers date from 1962 to 1979. Materials include primarily correspondence, newspaper clippings, and reports. Subjects documented include the use of the Bjorklunden property, selections of University presidents, and student unrest during the late 1960s and early 1970s.

Conservatory of Music Administrative Records

Overview This collection contains administrative records of the Conservatory of Music including correspondence, committee and faculty meeting materials, and former faculty files. Materials have been largely transferred from the Conservatory Office through records management, and span the years 1910-2021.

Curtis Tarr Papers

Scope and Contents This collection consists of the personal papers of Curtis Tarr, the twelfth president of Lawrence University. The papers are comprehensive, including a daily journal that Tarr maintained from 1964 to 1989 and correspondence sent and received from 1941 to 1997. Drawings in pen by Tarr as well as other writings are also included.
